Values / Issues

Education

Quality education for all Idahoans is essential. We need to provide schools with appropriate funding, increase access to pre-k services, and give teachers the value and respect they deserve. Our students are the foundation of our community, and the architects of our future economy. We want them to grow up here, become homeowners, open businesses and raise their own children. To do this, we need to invest in their future by providing a quality education supported by Idaho’s values.

Public Lands

I’ve spent my entire life camping, hiking, and fishing on Idaho’s public lands. They are one of the few places in the country undisturbed by the progress of time. The next generation of Idahoans deserve the opportunity to have the same experiences I had – the experiences of my parents, and their parents before them. The public lands of Idaho are a huge part of what makes our state such a wonderful place to live. It is vital that the people of Idaho be involved in the management and preservation of these areas. We must work together to keep public lands open and accessible across the state.

Transportation / Infrastructure

Access to reliable, affordable, and environmentally friendly transportation must be a priority for Ada County. A growing city and a thriving economy cannot survive without it. It’s time to review, research and implement public transportation methods that have worked in cities throughout the world. The citizens of district 15 deserve more.

Why I am running for Idaho House District 15 Seat B

As a native Idahoan and native to Ada county, I’ve seen the growth we’ve experienced firsthand. I’ve also seen the issues that are the natural consequence of our growing popularity as one of the most sought-after places to live in the U.S.

As of late, we’ve all witnessed an extreme shift in Idaho politics. Not enough time and energy has been given to the issues that affect all of us, such as education, growth planning, taxes, & public lands. Instead, what we are seeing is political grandstanding, publicity stunts, and wasted taxpayer dollars.

Growing up, I remember a two-party system where politicians worked together to make a better Idaho. I want that world for my children. I want that world for your children too. I pledge to work for the good of Idahoans across the state by promoting policies that enrich and improve all of our lives, regardless of party affiliation.
